Coldfusion - Adobe identifies their audience

Wow! I knew the audience for which Coldfusion was geared, but this error message really defines it:

The system has attempted to use an undefined value, which usually indicates a programming error, either in your code or some system code.

Null Pointers are another name for undefined values.

This crystallizes some of my frustrations with it as a language...

xrandr - Ubuntu Hardy, Debian Lenny (laptop with two external monitors)

I've had to tweak my xrandr command when moving to Debian Lenny:

Debian Lenny:

xrandr --output LVDS --off --output VGA --mode 1440x900 --crtc 0 --output TMDS-1 --mode 1440x900 --left-of VGA --crtc 1

Ubuntu Hardy:

xrandr --output LVDS --off --output TMDS-1 --mode 1440x900 --crtc 0 --output VGA --mode 1440x900 --right-of TMDS-1 --crtc 1

Why I'm not sure... If I ran xrandr the Hardy way on Debian Lenny, I got the following error:
xrandr: cannot find crtc for output VGA

I used the answer in the first comment...

Ubuntu Hardy - Samsung U3 mp3 player

I, finally, received my Father's Day present of an mp3 player, but it didn't mount it as a drive, like my previous one had done. Rhythmbox manage it though with libmtp7 installed.

Ubuntu Hardy - sound issues

I have struggled with sound since Gutsy, but this blog entry seems to be on the right track for my laptop:

Ubuntu Hardy - vmware install

I found the vmware-any-any-updates confusing now that they seem to be pushed to a google group... Therefore, (to get vmware to work well on Hardy), I used:

vmware-any-any-updates116.tar.gz
VMware-workstation-6.0.3-80004.i386.tar.gz

These might help as well:
