VMPlayer / Ubuntu Gutsy

I couldn't get the vmnet modules to build with the following error:


Using 2.6.x kernel build system.

I found this link:
http://www.howtoforge.com/vmware_server_fedora_core_6

And, created the config.h file with the following command:


sudo touch /usr/src/linux/include/linux/config.h


Then downloaded the newest vmware-any-any patch:
http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update113.tar.gz

and ran:

sudo ~/downloads/vmware-any-any-update113/runme.pl
